In addition, the course also explains art supplies, like different types of papers, suggested brands, sharpening tools and how using a table or an easel can affect your work. On this drawing journey, you learn about perspective, texture, drawing from life, drawing human face and figures, space, value and contrast. In the beginning of this drawing course you will learn how to use a pencil like an artist, how to draw any shape, how to analyse and draw any subject by simplifying it into basic shapes. Many of the tools and techniques you’ll learn here are rarely taught in any other class. This course is designed to take students from absolute basic to advanced drawing techniques like perspective drawing and shading. This course will show you how to create advanced art that will stand up as professional work. The course is your track to obtaining drawing skills like you always knew you should have. This drawing course will take you from having little knowledge in drawing to creating advanced art and having a deep understanding of drawing fundamentals. The course starts with the basics. You will get an in depth understanding of the fundamentals of drawing. You will learn everything from line fundamentals all the way up to highlights and Shadow. Next you will learn how prospective works and how to incorporate it into your art. Once you have learnt perspective you are going to learn how to create texture and apply it to your drawings. Then you are going to learn how to draw from life. Observing life and drawing it is a very important skill when it comes to art. At this point you will be ready to start drawing the human face. Next you are going to learn how to draw human figures. In this course you’ll learn how to draw or your own beautiful, life like portraits. You will learn which materials make for the best portraits and the other tools you need as you begin drawing realistic, dynamic works of art. We will make specific recommendations about pencils and erasers you should use, ways to hold your pencil to create different tones, the correct way to blend, in order to keep your light and dark strokes distinct, ways to make texture in your drawings by using a simple eraser technique. We will give you tips on what makes a photo a good reference tool, and how to break it down, in order to analyse its shadows, lights and shapes more clearly. You will learn how to add drama to your portraits, and how to work with light and dark values, in order to make more successful drawings. You will also learn about halftones, highlights, reflected lights, form shadow, cast shadows and you will learn how to identify soft and sharp edges between them. In the drawing course we will also learn how to capture finishing details, which will help make your portrait stand out. We will also share extra tips for approaching your work with new prospective helping you see details that you might otherwise miss.
